How to Reach the MEPVAULT Team

MEPVAULT is the editorial and engineering arm of an independent MEP consulting practice. We field design queries, calculator bug reports, advertising enquiries, and content suggestions through structured digital channels. We do not publish a postal or telephone contact — our consulting team works across multiple project sites and email is our only audit-trail-friendly channel. Below are the documented routes — please pick the subject line that matches your purpose so we can route your message correctly and respond within our published service-level expectations.

    Email & Subject Lines

    General & calculator-tool support: admin@mepvault.com
Editorial / article suggestions: admin@mepvault.com (subject: Article Suggestion)
    Advertising enquiries: admin@mepvault.com (subject: Advertising)
Privacy / data-deletion requests: admin@mepvault.com (subject: Privacy Request)
Legal / takedown notices: admin@mepvault.com (subject: Legal Notice)

The contact form above this section is the preferred channel for first-time visitors — it captures the metadata we need to triage efficiently and routes to the same inbox.

    Response Time Expectations

We treat every email as a real engineering enquiry, not a marketing touchpoint, and that takes time. Below is what you can realistically expect from us. These are SLAs we set ourselves, not contractual guarantees, and they exclude Indian public holidays.

    • Calculator bug reports & tool feedback: initial acknowledgement within 24–48 working hours, with a triage note explaining whether the issue has been logged for a maintenance release.
    • General questions about an article or standard reference: response within 3–5 working days, usually with a citation or pointer rather than a full rewrite.
    • Advertising / sponsorship / partnership enquiries: response within 5–7 working days; please note we accept only contextually relevant MEP / construction-industry advertisers and are highly selective.
    • Editorial submissions and guest-author pitches: we acknowledge within 7 working days and provide a longer-form decision (publish, revise, decline) within four weeks.
    • Legal, copyright, or DMCA-style notices: please mark the subject line Legal Notice; we will respond within 3 working days as required by Indian IT Act guidance.

    Working Hours

Our editorial team operates on Indian Standard Time (UTC+05:30), Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:30 IST. Emails sent outside these hours are queued and addressed on the next working day. Calculator outages reported through email are monitored on a best-effort basis on weekends; if a public-facing tool returns an error, we typically deploy a fix within 24 hours of the first verified report.

FAQ — What Visitors Ask Most Often

Can I cite a MEPVAULT calculator output in a tender or DBR submission?
Our calculators are intended for early-stage estimation and design verification. For tender, statutory submission, or construction-issue drawings, the engineer of record must independently verify the calculation against the applicable code (NBC, IS, ASHRAE, NFPA) and stamp the deliverable. See our Legal & Disclaimer page for the full position.
Do you accept guest articles or co-authored content?
Yes — we publish original engineering pieces from practising MEP consultants, design managers, and senior site engineers. We do not publish promotional or vendor-funded copy. Send a 150-word abstract, your byline, and a representative project to admin@mepvault.com with the subject Article Suggestion.
I found a discrepancy between two articles on your site — what should I do?
Please email us with both URLs and a short note on the disagreement. We treat technical-accuracy reports as priority and update the affected article(s) with a dated correction notice when the issue is verified. Reader-reported corrections account for a meaningful share of our editorial improvements.
Will you build a custom calculator for my project or vendor catalogue?
Custom calculator development for vendors, manufacturers, or single-project use cases is handled outside MEPVAULT under a separate consulting engagement. Email us with your scope and we will route the request to the appropriate party.
How do I report a privacy issue or request data deletion?
Email admin@mepvault.com with the subject Privacy Request. We aim to action verified personal-data deletion requests within 30 days, in line with Indian DPDP Act 2023 expectations. The Privacy Policy page documents the full data-handling stance.
What technical scope does MEPVAULT actually cover?
Our editorial focus is the practical Indian MEP delivery stack: HVAC system design (chilled water plants, VRF, DX, BMS), plumbing and drainage to IS 1172 / IS 1742 / NBC 2016 Part 9, firefighting to NBC 2016 Part 4 with comparison against NFPA where international briefs apply, electrical systems with cable sizing to IS 1554 and DG sizing to ISO 8528, and sustainability ratings (IGBC, LEED, GRIHA, BEE). Calculator tools cover the most-requested early-stage sizing tasks. We do not cover heavy industrial process MEP, oil-and-gas package units, or dedicated infrastructure utilities — those domains have their own specialist resources.
Will the team answer a specific design question on my live project?
We answer general technical questions where the answer is useful to a wider audience — and where it can be answered from public codes, published standards, or our editorial corpus. We do not provide stamped engineering opinions on a specific project, equipment selection, or site condition over email; that work needs the engagement, drawings, and indemnity that only a contracted consulting engineer of record can provide. If your enquiry would benefit a public article, we may convert it (with your permission and without identifying details) into a future post.
